Manish Raisinghani, MBBS, Ph.D., is Chief Executive Officer of Target ALS, where he leads the organization’s scientific and organizational strategy in support of its mission to accelerate the discovery and development of effective treatments for ALS. Target ALS envisions a world where everyone with ALS lives a long, quality life. To realize this vision, the Foundation provides holistic support for ALS research through its Fund, Enable, and Conduct model.

As CEO, Manish leads Target ALS’s scientific and organizational strategy, bringing together academia, the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, technology partners, funders, and the ALS community to overcome barriers to therapeutic development. He developed and implemented the Foundation’s innovative grant-making strategy, oversaw the design and expansion of its Research Core resources, and has played a central role in transforming collaboration between industry and the academic ALS research community.

Under Manish’s leadership, Target ALS continues to expand access to critical biosamples and multidimensional data, advance global clinical research, and invest in emerging technologies, including AI/ML, to accelerate the path from scientific discovery to effective treatments for people living with ALS.
