We are excited to share with you our first quarterly science newsletter of 2025. Our grantees are making advances in understanding the basic biology of the disease, new therapeutic targets, and biomarker assays for early diagnosis and use in clinical trials. Here we share just some of the exciting discoveries arising from multi-disciplinary consortia and scientists utilizing our core resources. As promised, we are busy executing on our mission to generate large multi-omic datasets, through our Cores and clinical research studies, to help drive ALS research. The ALS Global Research Initiative (AGRI), the most comprehensive global research initiative on ALS, is in full force. In 2025, we remain deeply committed to understanding genetic and environmental factors impacting the disease to accelerate development of the next generation of therapeutics.
